The Seoul Lantern Festival 2013 will light up the area around Cheonggyecheon Stream with colorful lanterns from November 1 to 17, 2013. The theme for this years festival is Hanseong Baekje, Dream of One Thousand Years, featuring lanterns that display clothing, artifacts, and cultural aspects from the 700-year history of Baekje. Areas along Cheonggyecheon Stream such as Gwanggyo Bridge Gallery, Cheonggyecheon Plaza and Hanbit Square will offer traditional lanterns for sale and stage performances for the visitors enjoyment.
